About Us

SooTonight.com began as a collaborative project between Terry Desjardins and Jeff Cardoso, two individuals deeply rooted in the Sault Ste. Marie community. Both Terry and Jeff independently recognized the difficulty of finding reliable, centralized information about local events and activities. Driven by a shared passion for enhancing community engagement, they each envisioned a free, accessible resource to fill this gap. After discussing their ideas, they realized their visions aligned perfectly. Combining their insights and efforts, Terry and Jeff set out to create SooTonight.com—a centralized hub that would make it easy for both locals and visitors to discover and participate in the vibrant happenings of Sault Ste. Marie. Their partnership is fueled by a commitment to building a platform that serves as the go-to source for community events, ensuring no one misses out on the rich cultural and social opportunities the city has to offer. Development of this platform began April 21, 2024, and have been serving the community ever since.
